BOISE AREA MID-WINTER - PATTERNS OF SERVICE

WE PRESENTED THE BEQUEST SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP CRYSTAL AND PIN TO DICK HALSEY

Dick Haley of the Boise East Club was presented his crystal and pin in recognition of his contribution to The Rotary Foundation's Permanent Fund.  He joined 72 other Rotarians from throughout District 5400 who contributed over $945,000 as we strive to reached the million dollar mark.

To see the roster of contributors and pictures from the Million Dollar Dinner, search the District 5400 DG blog for December.  You'll find the pictures there.

Marianne Barker, co-chair of the October 30 Million Dollar Dinner, presented Dick Halsey with his crystal and pin for becoming a Bequest Society member.

Marianne Barker served as MC to allow the club presidents to give their club reports.

MELISSA WEYMOUTH AND ANDY WOOD OF BOISE WEST (A FORMING CLUB) URGED US TO GO TO THE SUN VALLEY CONFERENCE TO SEE THE DG AND DGE MAKE FOOLS OF THEMSELVES

This is a picture of Melissa Weymouth taken at the2009 Sun Valley Conference.  She is serving Jack Cafferty of the Boise Metro Club.

Pictured here is Jess and Andy Wood of the Boise West Club, taken in the Sun Valley Conference during Gene Hoge's year, 2008-09.

WE LEARNED MUCH FROM EACH CLUB AND HAD FUN, TOO, AS THE PICTURE OF CHARLES AND TJ ILLUSTRATES

I almost didn't display this picture because Charles Weymouth
looked so unhappy when TJ Adams, presidents of RC of Emmett, hugged him.

John Biggs, Communication/PR chair, poses for the camera.  In the back is Jan Welch, Dave Hanseon, Hal Rumsey, Terry Jones, Stephanie Hanchett and Marilyn Bickle.

I am using a picture of Ken Howell, chair of the Annual Programs Fund, from the Jan. 8 mid-winter assembly.  The pictures I took on Jan. 15 were not clear.  If you can't tell, Ken is a Yote (College of Idaho graduate).
